Also... Anyone else think those tiny rear lights plopped amongst all that sheet metal looks ridiculous?

View attachment 10008

They seem weird, and I'm not really sure what they are doing that they couldn't have been placed within the cluster of the larger rear lights.

But I don't necessarily hate them, either.

The whole design of this thing will definitely require an in-person look before I can really appreciate (or **** on) it.

Jerry was just so confident in his description of the design and how it all works together, but then again, he was the same way when the Discovery was launched...so take it with a grain of salt. This thing looks more than capable, and I am 100% fine with the interior, but somehow I wish the exterior conveyed a bit more of a truck look than it does. I mean it is a Defender, not a Discovery. I like this front look better:

Love this. Was this a concept at one point ?

Good video going over inside and out. I am not getting over that idiotic c pillar. Video has the guy sitting in the back of the 90, literally can’t see outside.

OMG it's $1000 to strap a carry-on bag to the outside of your vehicle.

Lol. I've seen no less than 3 different videos on youtube where reviewers are talking about the new Defender in this exact same location. A lot of them even share the same opening shots:

I can just picture a line of car reviewers, helicoptered into the deep, dark woods, waiting for their turn.

Funny, I noticed that too, I have seen 4 such videos so far, it was clearly a day Land Rover let a bunch automotive entities in to do their first impressions so they could time them with the release.

Agree totally!!!
And also share the opinion on the tail lights with other recent post.

True be told this **** will make for an easy facelift to fix this sort of stuff...

Gotta say I’ll reserve judgment till I see it in person but it’s definitely not calling me to review personal finances...

Do not like. Not for me. I would rather build a Disco 2 or Disco 3 or buy an old Defender..

I like it, so far, but it's early. Just downloaded the Defender brochure and found that the GVWR is over 6000 pounds. (Both the 90 and 110) For those of us that own our own business and use our trucks for work, it qualifies for that section 179 tax break.
