I just noticed, the shoulder line on the door panel is too high and narrow. There's no place to rest your elbow.

So in summary the new Defender offers no real engine option for those at altitude who also tow, needing torque, not off the line hp other than adding $12K to the price for a very complicated engine that offers no real advantage over the V6SC.

My 5.0L is looking better than ever.

Here's some slightly better data on the engines:

what do you mean it is available without it? this is an option? who would opt for it?

The 90 is available without it; it's standard on the 110.

I have no idea what purpose it serves, especially on the 90, other than making the vehicle look more "planted."

Will be interesting to see the implementation of this. It’s been in production for quite a while now and I have a car that has the turbo/ev solution in it - works flawlessly, but then again, it isn’t LR engineering. Still, can’t (don’t want to) believe that something as common as this will be a stumbling block.

My only concern about the P400 engine is the longevity. The electric supercharger has its own 48v battery, uses regenerative braking (if you've ever driven an electric car, you know what this is) and it just seems like a different world of headaches potentially waiting to happen.
