Is anyone else having issues connecting to their Bovee with the latest iOS updates? My 2011 LR4 used to work fine but now it connects with a “device error” and won’t play music. It just pauses after 1 second.

I’ve tried “forgetting” the device and unplugging it but it has made no difference. Any suggestions on how to remedy or an alternate device I can purchase to use for music?

Granted I'm on a '13 but when I first put iOS 13 beta onto my device I needed to delete it from both sides and set up pairing freshly. Did you try forgetting it on both sides rather than just one?

Bluetooth works fine for me, playing music through USB works, but I can't skip songs... 2013 MY here.

Luckily I upgraded to android
I had an android just prior to the iPhone I have now. I had issues with bluetooth on the Note 9 and the LR4. Generally speaking bluetooth, even though it's a standard, isn't consistent across platforms or devices.

You're absolutely right, there are standards for bluetooth and versions of bluetooth. However, meeting and passing these standards are one thing versus the manufacturer's interpretation, cost, and product is a different thing. Long story short is, you're right, its bluetooth version X.X and its different across different brands, models, and platforms.

You might want to reach out to Bovee and see if they can help troubleshoot your issue.
