Hello all. I have 83k on my 2013 HSE and am getting ready to do the LCAs(both bushings on each side + ball joints). I also bought sway bar bushings and sway links(although not sure if they are worn or not, just seemed prudent). Is there anything else up front that's worth replacing at the same time that has a limited lifespan much like the LCAs? Tie rod ends? Any other bushings or links worth knocking out at <100k to save time later? Thanks!

After my lower ball joint failed on my 22k-mile old lower control arms, I'm having them both replaced again tomorrow. I'm having new tie rods put on at the same time, which I did not have done the last time. I'm at almost 90k miles in my 2012.

You'll need an alignment for either the LCAs or the tie rods, so I figured I might as well replace them both this time.

Just did upper front and rear bushings, lower front and rear bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar bushes, wheel bearings, sway bar links and tie rods and ends between 86K and 89K miles.

It rides pretty much like new now after an alignment.

Those tie rod bolts are a bi*ch when trying to do the alignment after you swap the lower control arms. My alignment guy had a hard time getting them loose. He had to heat it up and wack it a few times. They will deff need to be replaced soon. The rust from 85k NYC salt miles has taken its toll.

Thanks, were your upper arm bushings/ball joints worn at all? Wondering how much wear that upper control arm gets, compared to lower.
