2006 LR3 HSE 4.4L V8. 175,000 miles.

Been getting P0300, P0301, P0307, P0308, missfire on startup with in first 1000 revolutions.

Replaced plugs, PCV, Cleaned MAF sensor and throttle body. No vacuum leaks. Had a leak down test done and air was coming out the intake and nowhere else.

My question is... Could I be suffering from carbon build up on the intake valves or am I looking to replace the valves?

Funny thing is... It only misfires on startup and once the engine warms up it runs fine with no misfires showing on code reader.

Replaced plugs,

Why not the coils when in there? Had misfire on my bmw, replaced the cylinder coil in question from code reader, fixed. Once confirmed that was the issue, I also replaced the remaining 5 and new plugs. Accelerates faster now under boost. I think I'd gotten used to the reduced power until it went into total failure on that coil and ran like total **** one night on just 5 cylinders.

I had the same code. <Mine was a faulty Injector, #5 cylinder.
Replaced that, it is not for the feint hearted and it ran fine after. Injectors cheaper I think. I replaced mine with a reman injector. no problems 20K later.
