Is anyone aware in a change in tie rods somewhere along the line?

I'm having my mechanic put on new inner and outer tie rods, both left and right, while he's doing my lower control arms.

I ordered the kits from Atlantic British.

Left: https://www.roverparts.com/Parts/LR010667

According to my mechanic, the new left inner and outer tie rod went in fine. However, the threads on the right inner tie rod were too fat to screw in. He told me this a few hours ago, and said he had a local supplier that he could order another inner tie rod from. After I told him to go ahead and order it, he received it only to find it had the same problem.

Anyone know if there a part change somewhere along the model run? According to the Atlantic British website, this part should fit all LR4s.

Just talked with someone at Atlantic British. Apparently, there was a switch in the middle of the LR3 run where they changed from fat to skinny threads. So maybe the assembly line threw one of those old parts on mine, but for only half the steering rack?

Madness.
