I’m definitely ignorant here. Here is what my noob self assumed: the LR computer told you if TP was low and that was that. This post is making me realize there’s waaaaaaaaay more to it than that! So i need additional sensors on each of my tires? This gives me reading homework for the weekend :/
You don't need any TPMS at all. My LR4 is the first vehicle I've owned that ever had it. My LR3 didn't, and I made out just fine for 10 years with no TPMS. TPMS is a convenience, nothing more. A nice feature? Absolutely. It's probably safe to say it even increases safety. But there's definitely no need for it.
