I know that it doesn’t help tire clearance, but with the new tires I’m thinking that it will not only look mean with a lift but also would improve it significantly off-road, I’m just nervous about wear it does.

keep In mind that those hight sensors are in a plastic housing, the arm that activates the sensor is also plastic.
I have seen 2 other Land Rovers that after installing the Johnson rods and rhino rods (both metal) have put more stress on the sensor.
eventually breaking it... best of luck

I run rhino rods, pretty sure they're plastic. At least mine seem like it

Why not get the gap diagnostic tool and just raise your suspension up when off roading or just for a meaner look, and if you don’t like it you could just lower it the 2.5”. Also you’ll have an invaluable tool for other uses for your lr4. All lr3/lr4 owners in my opinion should have this tool. I actually have the rods and gap tool. I’ve been running the lift rods for about 6 years and no problems with truck, suspension, drive train, etc... my rods are made from metal not plastic.i have a 2006 Lr3.
