Transmission rebuild $6,500 (found out later that the whole tranny didn’t need to be replaced but only the bridge Seals needed to but due to my lack of knowledge at the time I repaired it anyway)

$10759.12 For a new transfer case. This was covered under warranty luckily.
Metal shavings were found in the transfer case oil when the dealership was troubleshooting a vibration, so I was very lucky with that.

I'm trying to avoid a most expensive repair.
Recently, I knocked the rear roof antenna off my 2016 LR4 HSE Lux. The bracket remains but the fin part with the goods in it is gone. Does anyone have any experience with replacing one of these?
Also where the heck do you find the menu tab that allows you to start an new thread or post a new question. I always have to piggy back off someone else's post, like this one.

Sure, but the warranty bill is prices out a brand new OEM box at MSRP and book labor rates at the dealership. Quite sure that out of warranty an indie sources one and installs it for less than 5k.
