Parts from older models

Are there parts from older discoverys or RRs that are worth salvaging when found at a junkyard, in order to put them in my 2012 LR4?

for example, i found a back wheel mount that I think I can put on the door, but i gotta research that a little more.

anything wheel/brakes-wise for when i switch to 18s?

anything under the hood i should be looking for?

forgive my ignorance but i’m new to this world.

If your thinking of putting the discovery 1/2 wheel mount and blotting it onto the tail gate I don’t see that happening in anyway what so ever because of the split tailgate. Honestly there’s nothing really you can put on or swap that would be better then the stuff your car already came with. You could swap some 18 rims from an older model if you like the styling, but other then that I don’t know if anything else is worth swapping over. If you don’t have the upgraded harmon/kardon Logic7 Sysytem in your car you could swap that amplifier over with the 2 3rd row mid speakers from and old LR3 or LR4 But that’s all I can think of really.

Pretty sure D2 rims won’t bolt on properly due to the center bore being to small. You would need a spacer that goes from hub centric to lug centric.
