I was just driving through a few inches of snow and raised the height to “off-road” The rear lurched at the end of travel. I then lowered it to normal and it lurched again. I got to my driveway and cycled height a few times and each time there was a lurch.

I again tried to cycle thru a few heights and it wouldn’t. The light on the height selection rocker didn’t go out.
Compressor seems to run nonstop.

I shut off the engine and on restart the vehicle takes several minutes to go to off-road height and “Vehicle raising in progress” warning appears several times.

It also takes about a minute to get from “access” to normal height.

Anybody have an idea what’s going on?

Has compressor gone bad?

Edit: I just drove about a mile or so and the height change is working but it takes a long time to get up to “off-road”

The air tank is fairly small. The compressor takes a while to fill it.

Try not to make so many height changes in rapid succession.
