Are you talking about the little plastic hook that goes through the hole in the mat? I got a bag of those with my 2nd row mats. They are just screw-tipped widgets that you twist into the carpet as best I can tell. I didn't bother using mine for the 2nd row because the mats stay put on their own. My point is that if yours don't line up you can probably back them out and relocate them.

Thanks, yes the second row. The rubber mats where in the truck when we bought it. Some of those plastic hooks are in spots where there are no holes through the mat and places where there are holes in the mat there are no hooks. I’ll take a look.

I run weathertech fronts, weathertech over top of the OEM rubber mat in the second and OEM rubber in the third row. We get slush/snow crap 6+ months a year and this set up mostly keeps the muck at bay.

I bought a 2007 Range Rover Sport about a year ago that came with the Weather Tech mats and I like their coverage, but they are pricey ….. just my opinion - John

The last time I used weather tech I found them to be too slippery when wet. Makes getting in and out a challenge at times

I replaced the stock rubber floor mats in my new D5 with front and rear WeatherTech floor liners. WeatherTechs are the gold standard for floor liners and are far superior to the stock Land Rover mats in both fit and coverage (they're available for the 2011 LR4). I kept the stock Land Rover cargo area rubber mat since it also came with an available matching extension to lay on the back of the second row of seats when those were laid down.

I have the factory rubber mats in since new in 2007. Still working fine. Got the whole set because back then, there wasn't really any other way. Isn't it interesting to recall how not long ago, you couldn't just go to Amazon for almost anything or other online sources.
