Agree too. With that tiny slit grill it looks like it has lips. Then there are those bumpy hood inlays that look like acne on the big nose.

And the way the headlights are positioned, I'm not sure if it looks like it's rolling it's eyes or just plain cross-eyed.

It’s scowling!

Land Rover fans: "Hey, Land Rover. We want the new Defender to look like a real off-road vehicle!"

Land Rover: "OK!" [Pulls up Google images of Jeeps with aftermarket angry grills.]

Land Rover fans: "No!"

Land Rover seems terrified to break their mold. I was so disappointed when I saw what the Disco 5 looked like, but I was slightly more happy with the Defender. Sure, it's a divisive look, but at-least they tried to make it look different from the rest of their line-up.

The Bronco has to be good at one thing in my opinion: going off-road. A true recreational vehicle. If they can do that, FORD will be able to compete with JEEP in the segment which will create a new and interesting rivalry that everyone benefits from.

If the new BRONCO renderings are accurate, I think they are on the right track.

At least it has a dipstick!

Ha! I didn't even notice. My guess is this is a diesel model? I don't see them adding a dipstick to one of the new whizbang gas engines.
