The more I see and hear about the Defender, the less I like it. From a technology stand-point I'm still a fan, but it's actually the interior I'm worried about. I've gotten so used to my LR4 interior (which I ******* love) that I don't think I could settle for anything less now haha.

It's bittersweet since they don't make them anymore and I'm not a fan of the Disco5 exterior...although I have never sat in one, how do they compare to the LR4 interior?

Found this gem captioned, "8 hours of off-roadies is all it took to completely fall in love"

The new Luxury Defender is a significant improvement over the Discovery 5. Technology is the future so a Blackberry OS is fine with me. The front end leaves much to be desired but regulation created it. The big issue for me is the powertrain options. The 2.0L is too small while the 3.0L MHEV is too complex, likely high long term cost and very expensive upfront. Hoping LR addresses the deficiency.

Given that the D5, which is assembled in Slovakia as the Defender, is saddled with problems (leaking windshields, seriously!), this does not portend well for the Defender.

Have we done this latest Bronco pic?

4 doors. Real tires. Solid axle rear end. If Ford has options for a front/rear locker, the Defender is in trouble. At least if I ever go SUV shopping again.
