As far as I know, the only other options for a rear tire carrier are the ones that replace the whole rear bumper. Tactical 4x4 and I think Kaymar has a U.S. distributor again.

@AdventureTim thnx for details, tire size was to give me context. I do see what you mean re wheel position. Does it affect park sensors?

Outside of the T4x4 full bumper replacement. Feels like, based on what’s available and I’ve seen, likely going to need to modify (tweak) something to get what I want...as in your case.

Park sensors work fine. The passenger-side rear blindspot sensor has problems with the swing-arm pivot placed where it is. I haven't had a chance to try and fix it (and am not sure if there's anything that can be done).

I'll provide photos and details on how I fix/improve the gas strut once it's all said and done. Currently waiting on a box of parts from McMaster Carr...

Is it the blind spot monitoring sensors? It's not broke, it just won't work with the T44 bumper. The blind spot monitoring system runs off a radar sensor which is located below the rear light which is now covered by a piece of steel which is the bumper. It will work sporadically...maybe...but that steel is going to prevent it from being fully functional.

Yeah, it's the blind spot monitoring sensors. The Voyager mount doesn't completely cover the sensor, but the pivot is very close and I suspect is causing it to have issues (it determines that the sensor is "blocked" and switches both sides off and throws a warning on the dash). I'm going to try and alter the angle of the sensor by a few degrees in the hope it won't get thrown off by the pivot.

New set of EVO Dakar wheels - gloss black with BFG KO2's (including full size spare). I plan on removing the white vinyl lettering on the wheels but haven't had a chance yet and i've ordered fake black gloss LR center caps that'll match better. This is stock height and no rubbing. Also, can run in access mode with no rubbing.
