I need help identifying what needs to be fixed. I think my repairman is just chasing the problem through the car.

My 2011 LR4 had a slow coolant leak. I refilled a couple of times over a week but no overheating. Then my cabin heater stopped working. A couple of days later I had an overheating warning and pulled the car over. Had car towed to repair shop. They replaced the water pump and thermostat and some hoses. Seems like a reasonable repair solution. 4 days later I am leaking again but the leak is linear under the car almost in line with the radiator. Repair shop says I need a new radiator. Another shop thinks it is a head gasket. Either way, it's going to be an expensive solution. I don't want to chase the problem with money. Any thought as to what would cause this leak?

Doubt it would be a head gasket if it’s lined up lined up under the radiator. I would investigate a little if I were you. Any pictures you can provide of the leak and where it hits the skid plate or the ground in relation to your radiator. Dumb question but would you know of any damage that could have been done to the radiator??

Buy some UV coolant dye online and add it, use the blacklight to find the source...

There is a plastic crossover pipe sitting on top of the engine. They crack and leak down from the top. It is a "x" shoed pipe that are commonly probe to crack and make the engine seem that the water pump is leaking when it in fact is not.
