not exactly sure where they are located but judging on the bill I was charged, I’m guessing it’s not easy to get to, or to do.
I've never done this either, and the factory service manual is a little unclear, but it does look like a pain to replace them. I'd poke around Google and YouTube and see if anyone has posted tips/tricks.

I’ve noticed my driver seat vibrates a bit and i feel it in my hands also when holding the steering wheel at idle or a stop sign. Could it be the motor mounts? I remember not being able to notice if the engine was on or not. Now i could definitely tell it’s on. This gradually started happening for the past couple of months. If it is the motor mounts, where do i find OEM ones? I did a brief google search and only found used ones off of eBay and aftermarket ones.

haven’t been on in a while so I’m bring the forum back from the dead. I know to get to the mounts you have to remove the front differential to get to the mounts them selves. Learned this the hard way after hearing clunking noises when I’d break and discovered that both of the mounting screws were loose from when the other shop worked on it.

Stuff like this is *exactly* why I do 99.44% of repairs myself, on all our vehicles. Even if I have to buy special tools for a job, in the end it's usually still less expensive, and I'm more confident that the job was done properly. I care about doing it right, they care about doing it fast and maximizing profit.

I've purchased multiple vehicles over the years where I've found repair work from professional shops that was simply done wrong. One of my favorites was where the shop charged the previous owner full retail/MSRP for a Genuine factory/dealer part, then installed a cheap aftermarket off-brand item (over 3x price difference, several hundred dollars bonus profit for them). Be careful out there.

Yup this is an end of era of me trusting mechanics That are not someone I’m close with or myself. It’s quite disappointing to see how inconsiderate people could be. I understand that it’s a mistake but there’s a drawn after a certain point and this is way past it.
