I have an LR4 that I need to edit the CCF. But I also have a second LR4 and Disco II. Which unit is the most economical, assuming both products can do all the same functions?
Thx
S

To be clear, the IIDTool Gap Diagnostic.

I can't believe nobody has answered your question yet. I have both the Nanocom EVO and the IID Tool BT and I use the IID tool 99% of the time. The Nanocom has become novelty to me because the blue tooth interface of the IID tool to my iPad and Android phone is so convenient. I use it on my 2006 LR3 and 2007 RRSC.

Although the Nanocom could connect with your Disco II I giving it some value, but you can't really do as much on a DII as the LR4 as far as the features go.

Connecting to my DII would be nice, but you are right about the limits. Only thing is I need the BCU synced to my odometer, after I changed the lightbulbs in the instrument panel. Would the dealer do that for me?

I do have two LR4s and my bother has one. The Nanocom gives me access to all of these? The IID Tool requires an 80 dollar outlay for each VIN, correct?

Thx

I can't speak for your DII and the dealer, but sounds like that's a one and done job once synced.

The IID Tool will work on all of the vehicles mentioned to read/clear codes. You do NOT need a license to plug it into another vehicle and check/clear codes, etc. You DO need a license if you want to do more advanced stuff like CCF edits and such. I'm not sure where adjusting/calibrating the suspension comes into licensing. I looked it up, $80 per extra vehicle license.
