The headliner cleaned up "okay", but don't stop and settle with that just yet. Go back to your original plan and get the carpet cleaner with the "animal enzyme" stain remover. And spray the heavier stains with PET Stain remover and cover them, to let them soak first. The scrub it and spray it clean. You'll come out with a much, much nicer head liner.

Better yet....if you know someone with a carpet cleaning business, pull a favour for a hamburger and a beer...they have all the right chemical stew to clean those really nasty stains right out of that thing. And with it pullled from the vehicle already it will be a super easy job for them ;-)

Keep up the good work old son!!

Dash came apart and after some cussing on the wiring and disconnecting the AC Drains the carpet is finally out of it.

It was still wet, and there was a pint of water in the floor heat vents. It is absolutely amazing how long it held water, even with shop vac, fans, and a dehumidifier running for 2 weeks.

We can finish up pulling 2 more pillar trims and we will be refinishing them. Headliner will be taken over to a local shop for a quote on redoing it and the sun visors. Depending on cost and turnaround time I may end up doing it myself. With a kit from Headliner express. They used to frequent the forums years back and it looks like they haven't forgotten land rover owners.

Got it home gave it a scrub with car wash and a pressure wash rinse than laid it out to dry. Tomorrow I'll pick up some carpet cleaner and give it another scrub.

Just cleaning the carpets again with some proper cleaner. So nothing really big planned for the next day or two.

I got a package I have been looking forward to today from the gent's at Lucky8. My Proud Rhino switch panel to replace the broken ashtray in the center stack. It is prewired and basically plug and play. Comes set up with 3 carling switches, twin usb ports, digital volt gauge and a 12v power port. The gray powder coat looks to be a great match for the center stack color and the Rhino logo is a cool touch.

Can't wait to be at the point where I can install this.

Is that panel made to fit the ashtry panel? I made up a custom job with some HDPE and a 6 switch panel, but have not been too happy with the results. I didn't have a good anchor point plan.
I'll have to have a look at these, only use 3 of the six switches anyway and did place a usb charger in it.

After seeing the price I am liking mine a whole lot more. Maybe I'll redo mine.
Just have other things I can spend that on right now. They are nice looking though.

It bolts right in replacing the two outlets and ashtray. Blends in nicely and gets rid of that dumb broken ashtray lol

The seats are definitely out for now though along with I think everything else at this point.

Have you thought about replacing the carpet with rubber matting? Is there such a thing?
Would probably run up some cash though. At least then you could see the sunroof leaks and ac drain leaks quicker. ****
