Do you think their asking for this lone to insure that nothing bad will happen, or do you really think their doing it so they have a chance of survival. What I mean by this is since money is so cheap do you think their just trying to spend the governments money rather then their own or do you think they’re on the verge of running out and they need this lone in order to survive.

Finally saw one in person. Was driving by the LR dealer yesterday and there was a green 110 sitting outside. Did a u-turn and came back to check it out. Was really dirty (covered in tree pollen) and locked since the dealer sales department is still closed. My first impression was that it is bigger and taller than I expected. Interior looks more "minimalist" and less luxury. Hope the seats are as comfortable as the LR4 seats. Wish the side windows were a little taller. Nice to see that the hood is below the front cowl. (Unlike the D5 view forward where you look under the rear edge of the hood) Finally, there is a lot of black plastic on the sides of a 110. They should include a large bottle of 303 Protectant with each sale.

Land Rover's website shows 5 Defenders for the entire US right now, so I am guessing they are on trucks enroute to various dealers. Will definately have to check one out - from various commentary it seems pictures do not quite do the thing justice.

LR Alexandria shows 5 with 3 sold. The 2 unsold are both $85k! Yikes that is almost FFRR territory.

85K for an SE means they're tacking on a significant "Additional Dealer Markup"

Exactly 17 minutes and 36 seconds into his ownership, the first "Restricted Performance" fault popped up.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why Land Rover would make something look so cheap and charge so much. Everything on this looks cheap. What a POS. Whoever was in charge of this should be fired immediately.

At least they kept to the long land rover heritage of extremely poor, to the point of embarrassing. quality. Feel for the folks who shelled out money for these expecting more. I've sat in them, my guess is that anyone rolling an LR4 right now is not going to be happy. Oh, btw, BMW called, they want their dumb@$$ gear shifter back. Geez. what were they thinking?
