Hi This may be a dumb question but when replacing the tires on my 2010 RR Sport SC, do I have to replace the TPMS sensors if they are working fine? And if so, what recommendations to replace them with?
Thanks,

If there working fine you should be able to use the same ones. When they install the new tires they just take them off the old ones.

If you have the tires off and they are 10 years old, I would replace them (unless you are willing to turn off the TPMS system using the IIDTool or similar if they act up). They eventually develop tiny cracks from age and you can end up with slow air leaks even if the sensor itself it still running fine. If the sensors finally die in them before the tires wear out, you have to go through the trouble of dismounting and remounting the tire to replace one, assuming you know which one it is. Then you wonder if another one will go before you are ready to change tires again, which is frustrating.

You can get high quality Siemens/Continental VDO replacements off Rock Auto for a good price compared to dealers.

I agree that you should probably them replace while the tires are off. Personally, if the software can turn TPMS off, I would and I'm not sure it can or that anyone will since it's a federal law. I'd be careful about aftermarket though. Back to the XKR, I had to replace one and bought aftermarket. Two weeks later it was back at Jaguar having the Jaguar sensor put in. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, maybe they'll give you a break on parts.
