I've had a few.

Cooper Zeon LTZ (255/55/19) - Good all-around, but not so hot in snow. Gets loud after its half worn.

Continental Contact (the stock tires) - I guess they're quiet? Seemed pretty mushy overall, not good in snow.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT (265/65/18) - Great tire, very quiet actually. Rides a bit softer than the Zeon too unless you turn up the pressure to 65 or something. The LT tire unfortunately doesn't have the 3 mountain snowflake.

Blizzak DM-V2? (255/55/19) - Quintessential snow tire. It definitely makes a difference. Great for deep snow. On the highway though, when there's an inch of slushy stuff after the plows have tried their best and other people have driven through, the biggest issue is still the car's weight. I had an Audi A4 before the LR4, which probably weighed half as much as the LR4. That thing on all-season was about as good as the LR4 on Blizzaks.

Wildpeak AT Trail are far less aggressive than the Wildpeak AT3.

Love my Nokian winter tires as they do a great job of turning and stopping the heavy LR4.

When I bought mine in 2018, it came with Toyo Open Country A/T in the stock 255 55 19 size. These had maybe 35% life left and were decent considering they were older and not really an off road tread pattern.

Early this year, I switched wheels and am now running Yokohama Geolandar G015 A/T tires in 275 55 20. Very happy with these tires. It's a mild a/t-oriented tread pattern, very decent in the snow(with 3pmsf snowflake symbol) and are pretty quiet on the road(which is important to me as I do long road trips). So all in all, a good compromise for all the environments i've thrown them into. I've done mud, sand, snow, light rocky trails with these tires and they performed great. I also had these tires on my previous truck and really liked them. They also come in D load rating but I got the regular 117 rating.

I run these on my Nissan truck where I am more pavement than dirt centric.

I have been very happy with them.

i would like to hear peoples' opinions and reasoning for the tires they have, like/dislike, etc.

Currently running continental terrain contact 19's, but looking for something more heavy duty

Here are two threads which both have great information on 19" tire options;

https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/michilin-goodyear-or-nokian-19.30357/

https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/lr4-19”-tire-options.40675/

Good luck, let us know what you decide. I'm currently on the Nokians and have been happy with them.

I just made the changeover to 18" OEM rims (found them on Ebay, completely refurbished, like new) and mounted a set of the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on them.. switched from the 19" with the Conti's Allterrains.. Took my '06 LR3 off road last weekend to Sicily Island, Louisiana off road park, with a bunch of Jeep guys.. they were mightily impressed with my stock LR, vs. all their built out Jeeps.. I LOVE the Nitto Ridge Grapplers.. made a huge difference in off road traction, and on road, they were even quieter than the A/T Conti's.. and, yes, they look great!

Duratracs - My only complaint is the noise. When new they are not bad at all but as they wear they definitely get noisier.

The Michelin Premier LTX suits our Southwestern, mostly around town, some interstate, occasional travel trailering needs well. Very quiet and comfortable with wide grooves for flooded streets.

Nokia WRG3 SUV. Live in Chicago and Utah so they work great in the snow, highway and mountains. They seem to have shorter treadlife than the K02s I run on an LR3 but traction is great. But I am not really surprised.

I have a 2018 RR Sport - Diesel and just replaced the original tires with only 22K miles, it came with Pirelli Scorpions, junk they were so noisy and bounced all over the place. Land Rover put an odd size tire on that car and the Pirelli is the only tire in the original size. I went with Michelin Defenders in a slightly wider tire as it was the best fit to keep the speedo accurate. Great tire, quiet, and responsive with a firm smooth ride and a 70K mileage warranty. I did lose 1.5 MPG but I am hopeful that once they break in that will come back. Great tire with speed and load rating to match the mfgr spec. It's a road car and I will use my old Jeep for off-road, so I'm happy with this tire.
