ASPW did a video on the grenadier.

Well, he and I agree on the new JLR version of the Defender. I still can't believe this is what JLR came up with? It's like they were doing all they could to tank the brand. It's way overpriced. Shouldn't/wouldn't appeal to most LR4 or Defender owners and looks like an older KIA Soul. Who, in there right mind, would flip $80k+ for this is beyond me.

The looks are growing on me. And it has nice features. But IMO, it seems a bit complex and also don't care that they sacrificed cargo over rear leg room. And yeah, it's expensive.

Those of us that love our LR4 but won't be taking it past 150K miles. At 150K miles I'll need another set of control arms, many fluid changes including transmission, another set of brakes, probably a new hub or two, another water pump, new tires, new battery, etc. That may be the point where I stop "investing" thousands of dollars into a vehicle worth $10K or less.

Plus I use my vehicle for work and can deduct part of the new Defender expense. My LR4 has been fully depreciated.
