As for accessing the oil filter, I'm not sure since I've never looked underneath the hood of a RR-SS. As for the oil drain plug seal, I do it every other time, just to be safe. Lastly, the syntetic oil is probably the best type of oil you can go with for that type of vehicle, as for what oil you plan on using, thats completely up to you. I go with Valvoline Full-Sync 10-30.

Hope this helps. Good luck and keep on Rovin.

I've done it before, but for my 04 RR-HSE and this is what I did to reset it. Try it out and follow these steps. It might be the same steps for the RR-SS.

1- With the Ignition being "off", press down the LH (trip) odometer button and hold it, and turn the ignition key to the first position.
2- Continue to hold press down the LH (trip) odometer button for apprx 5 seconds until one of the following words appears in the display: "Oil Service", or "Inspection" with "reset".
3- Release button and press again until reset SIA begins to flash.
4- While the display is flashing, press the left button briefly to reset the sevice interval.
5- After the display has shown the new interval, the following will appear: "END SIA".

Try it out. If you do it correctly, your mileage for your trip odometer will start counting down backwards from a set interval of miles, and thats how your computer will make you aware when the next oil change is do. Hope it helps out

Anybody know if this works? I have a 2010 RR Sport SC and am changing the oil today. It would be great to be able to reset the interval.

Thanks. I ended up after changing the oil, which was surprisingly easy using the MityVac, and Castrol OE Professional, and new filter from Atlantic British, using my ICarsoft LR V2.0 scan tool to rest the interval. Worked great! Now if I can just figure out what the difference is between the Expensive Castrol OE Professional, that the dealers use and I bought from Atlantic British, and the Walmart 5 gal jugs of Castrol OE, that would be great!
