I am having the regular three amigos warnings. A recent thread I found here mentioned water in the passenger side floor area. That is a problem as the ****** for the drain was deteriorated. Don't know why I didn't check it before. When I looked I found this in the photo...yellow with green stripe wiring disconnected. After reconnecting it, a code disappeared, I think it was for either cruise control or SRS. I can't remember the code. I reconnected but it didn't solve the lowering problem....might still be too wet although I tried to dry it.

Code is the P0506 A/B Brake Switch error.

I also found the lowest of the red lights burnt out on the rear driver side. I cleaned and replace it, still lowered. The bulb looked ok with no noticeable broken filaments. Going to have a mechanic check the wiring and fix the sunroof drain.

My question here is.....the yellow with green wiring I found disconnected......what is it for?

Thanks in advance.

Have you replaced the brake switch itself as well?

I have the electrical diagrams but the file is too large to post.
Send me a PM and I will try to figure out how to send them to you. I tried to ZIP the file but still too large.

yes I did swap the switch with an older one I had in stock. However, I am ordering a new one from LR.

This problem is definitely water....I hope. We had a lot of rain last night and the carpeting is very literally, dripping with water. My mechanic is going to fix it Friday after I told him how.

At the same time, I also checked the AC water port (?) and made sure it wasn't plugged.

replaced it again, still lowering. Mechanic fixed the water problem from the sunroof. I dried it out....mostly. Rode nice for day and them has lowered again. I think I need to dry it out better. Mechanic also repaired the wiring issue and heat shrunk the seal like it should have been done in the first place.

That looks like a added extra that’s been added by a previous owner.

I had the same problem. Got so tired of the LR3 passenger side getting wet from the AC overflow that I drilled 5 holes in the floor so it would drain. Then put in a metal raised floor panel under the carpet so the water would drain out. ATTENTION: When the AC drains, it gets into the CPU and the radio causing other problems. Good luck

....why was the AC draining onto the floor in the first place?

The Air Con drains for the condensate pan is beneath the truck directly under the small tank/catch pan. These have two drains which go thru the floor board under the truck to drain the water AC Condensate under the truck. Mine got clogged up with dirt and a missing pollen filter caused the pan to back up which then went into the floor boards.
