I have a 2011 LR4 on 19". I have some old 20" RRS wheels that I would like to put on the ol' girl, just to get more tire options than these 19s. So after reading and reading and reading I am still not 100% sure what will work. Yes, I know 18" are better, I get it... I have 18s on my 3 and love them. I am set on either BFg's or Toyo Open Country AT3's.

What is the largest tire I can wrap these in, that I WILL NOT have to run wheel spacers? im not terribly worried about the diameter, more worried about the clearance on the Control arm.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. thanks,

Spacers would depend on the offset of those rims as much as tire choice.

The stock 20" tire size is 255-50/20. A 265-55/20 would be comparable to the popular 265-65/18 Side but for not appear to have a lot of options. Use a tire comparison calculator online and stay around 31.5 inch diameter and 10.4 inch width and you should be good with a ET44 offset.

Hope that helps

265/50/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Not the G2’s. Same exact size just more tread and sidewall. No mods needed. No rubbing at all. Quiet on the road.

offset is key. I run L322 FFRR SS wheels with 275 55 20s and no spacers/rods. There is light rubbing in tight right hand turns, tire is hitting the plastic wheel well lining. Otherwise, pretty good. I believe these wheels are ET47.
