recently I noticed such issue from my LR4:

occasionally, when I start the engine (no matter cold or warm), I could see the time/date in the instrumental panel was reset, and I realized there must be some electricity power cut off, but I can still start the engine.

The car is used right now about once a week and parked in garage, I can say there should not be any battery drain problem, even car parked for more than two weeks.

any idea? corrosion on the battery terminal ?

Thanks

I’d ignore this guy. Looks like a scam.

Anyways, I would check out the terminals like you were mentioning. There’s just a plastic cover covering the battery on the passenger side of the car.

Maybe have an auto parts store load test it as well.

report back here

found out the battery terminal clamps were a little loose but shiny (I wiggled it and electricity cuts off), I think from a repair job last Oct,

tightened both and applied the battery terminal protection fluid

lets wait and see
