You may get lucky. For the most part Canadian models were installed, just no cord...

The story with my LR3 was that vehicles destined for Canada came with block heaters (2005&2006) however the cords were not CSA approved so they were not installed. My 2010 LR4 with everything did not have a block heater installed. Hopefully LR smartened up in the later model years.
Hello All.. I talked with an aftermarket Mechanic whom told me I cannot put a block heater in my 2011 LR4. He suggested a battery tender to get me through the Saskatchewan Canada winters. So I did install the battery tender, so now the engine turn's over, however will still not start when it's -30 Celsius. Does anyone know if the 2011's have or could have the block heater installed? Thank you..

Battery tender? Perhaps a battery blanket but it really does not address the problem. You need to warm the oil and I am surprised at your mechanics suggestion. Last time I looked at this you could get block heaters for the V8s.. I would talk to an actual LR dealer.

I will have to crawl under mine and take a peek.

Do you have a part number for the cord?
