So dropped it at the dealer to checkout, apparently it's due to misfires (which is also probably preventing my EVAP, EGR, and FUEL readiness). They're having a hard time tracking down the reason as there are no codes thrown. Will give ya an update when I find out but hopefully it should be covered by my dealer's 6-month limited warranty.

I had a very similar thing go on with my LR3- if it’s not the trans fluid first thing I’d check / replace is the MAF (make sure to use the OEM brand as these trucks are very finicky with the maf apparently). and then plugs and then fuel injectors... almost bet money it’s the maf and it won’t always give a clear code for it either just FYI.

So the truck passed inspection today! Ended up being a bad O2 sensor on Bank 1, wouldn't let the other monitors complete and also resolved by "bucking" issue. Shouts to my new Indy Andy over at ASC Auto in Highlands, NJ. A real stand-up guy who knows his stuff.

So, when I am driving up an incline, and either in D or S, my truck bucks/struggles a little thru low RPMs. Is this a problem?

It might, does your truck also have a rough idle in P? The O2 helps regulate the fuel mixture and once I had it replaced I noticed an immediate improvement in acceleration and idle.

If you have a decent reader, check the short term fuel trim for each bank, if you're seeing +10% on either side, then that's an indication that the upstream O2 sensor is bad. I never had any codes thrown, FYI

Rough idle at 1200 rpms when I first start truck in P for the first 15 seconds then drops to 600 rpms

So happy that you got it sorted and back on the road!

I realize this is going to sound absolutely insane, but mine was doing the SAME thing, I was thinking transmission and everything, but it had just been replaced by the previous owner, it had 96k miles on it and I knew I needed to do the 100k maintenance soon so I had it done. When I got it back(they replaced the SPARK PLUGS, fluids and such) it was gone. It was the Spark plugs that was causing the problem. The fluids were just the diffs, and TC. So there is another angle for you.

2012 LR4 LUX w/HD
Bought with 93k and has 110k now.

hope this helps
