Light grinding sound from rear right tire area when turning right.

Have you had intermittent wheel noise sounds?

A new noise on my 2008 Landrover. That noise just showed up about a week ago after I was hitting some pretty hilly roads aka San Fran style and tried to get it airborne.

Anyways the noise weirdly enough goes away after driving the car a few minutes. It is always there though in the morning turn on the car start driving and especially when turning the steering wheel a grinding sound not unlike a higher pitched fan.

Ok issue solved. There was a small plastic strip that came of the liner (due to it rubbing through to the rear AC lines). No issue with bearings etc. I cut off that plastic strip hanging and interfering with the tire, sounds gone!

Well in addition I did a complete deflate reset air strut procedure to make sure the car is level again.

I also finally got around cutting off those end horns from the frame the front tires were interfering rubbing on. Took the angle grinder to it with a cutting wheel. Now that source or rubbing has been eliminated too.

Next thing left is installing the 2.5" lift kit, currently I have the 1.5" installed but with my oversized tires that still leaves some rubbing on the AC lines, and when turning on the mud flap fasteners.

What are you calling a "lift kit" per se?

My creaking recently was just a few loose lug nuts. Always easy to check 1st.

Its old news, but you can flatten the bulge in the rear/passenger wheel liner pretty easily. I ran 32" tires with 0" lift for years.

Yep...same. I just boost it on the trail with the GAP tool. The bulge flattening is easier if you don't have rear climate control.

Someone had posted a rerouting those rear heater lines (used when you have the 7seat configuration car). It was pretty easy I used two 6' heated hose lines and clamped them to the existing junctions on the aluminum tubes. I did have to use a cutting wheel to really trim off all that excess material, bought a whole new liner and used a heat gun to reshape the area so reducing the footprint in the area by 1.5" or so - hence no more rubbing. I do use oversized tires so had to do this mitigation.

The tread pattern looks pretty sweet. I'm not familiar with that brand of tire. That combination of width and diameter may cause some issues, even with the standard "lift" most of us run.
