I found it in a forum, not sure what specific Land Rover manual it’s from. I will check mine today.

I put the battery on charge last night, this AM the truck still says battery low start vehicle?

Its 1:13AM, was just awaken out of a sound sleep by the alarm going off again..... had to get out of a nice warm bed and go out into the cold snowy weather to move the car into the garage so I can leave it unlocked again.

I did the hood pin jumper wire this morning, and I am going to say it did not work in my case, so it must not have been the issue. When I got into the car it had the low batt message again, but I charged the battery completely today until the charger said it was full. I don't know if the batt message and the alarm going off are part of the same issue. I did notice the message the first time the alarm went off so I am thinking that it might be related.

My 2011 LR4 started doing the same, I am going to replace the Hood Alarm Switch today and hope this fix the issue.

It's the hood if you are getting "Bonnet Open" messages in conjunction with the odd alarm.

I wasn’t getting any Bonnet Open messages. I think the issue might have been an issue with the plug for the battery management system. I just got the new plug in the mail today and am going to wire it up. I haven’t had the alarm go off or the batt low message since I fiddles with the BMS plug on the battery. I think there was an issue with that connection.
