Does the vehicle stay in off-road height when turned off?

So I'm going to attempt to DIY my diff and transfer case fluid changes. Trying to think outside of the box on best way to access the underbody without a lift/ramps/jack stands etc. Can you just put it into offroad height? Or does it drop back to normal when turned off? I do have a GAP tool so if it does drop back can it be programmed to stay temporarily for me to change the fluids?

It will stay in off road height, but it can still adjust itself if it thinks it needs to. I wouldn't trust it without also disconnecting the battery.

ive done that, shortly after getting my LR4. its was a little scary for it to adjust down, even just 1/2" when under the car.

Ive learned to get the truck on the ramps, let it sit for a few minutes to settle, then ill go under. I have never noticed the EAS adjust on my truck after the initial adjustment.

the suspension will stay in whatever mode you put it in when shutting the truck off.
exception to this is if you jack one corner up, it will adjust to extended off-road mode to try to compensate.

Please be careful, friends. Just the other day I was surprised by how sensitive my 2013 seemed to be about autoleveling. I was loading some junk in the rear for the county dump. It adjusted a few times during this process which I fully expected. However after some time of inactivity, I noticed I had left a rear passenger door ajar. I closed it, and about a second later, the LR4 adjusted slightly again. Could it have sensed the slight offset in balance caused by an open door?? Or was it a coincidence or maybe I leaned in on something before closing the door?

Whatever the explanation, I hope everyone takes all necessary precautions when crawling underneath these semi-sentient vehicles of ours.

Yeah, I would not trust it with my life. We have had two 2013's and this most recent one likes to "dance" more often than the last one. Just seemingly randomly adjusting itself like cperez said.

Mine will stay in O/R height for days, however, I'd never get under the truck without jack stands in the event an airline/bag blew. I usually put the L322 and LR4 in O/R height when working underneath, but always with jack stands as a failsafe.

BTW, I will alternatively park it in Access, Normal, and O/R so the Bags never develop creases from being in one position. I've always had excellent life out of my Air Suspension systems due to this...

Thanks guys. I for sure will put something underneath. Just for extra clearance I may even drive in onto ramps and then set it to offroad height for added space.

Done that before too. But even on Ramps I use jack stands. Especially if using Rhino ramps.
