Misfire Cylinder 5 - Advice?

Quick update:
Replaced all injectors, coil packs, and spark plugs on bank 1.

Still misfiring on cylinder 5 only.

Don’t really mind throwing parts at it as its due for a lot of this stuff anyways, I figure it’s preventative maintenance going forward. But damn I’d like to be able to drive it at some point! Haha

I guess that pretty much narrows it down to rings or valves though which means it’s all gotta come back apart!

If anyone can think of any last minute Hail Marys to try let me know, otherwise, it’s wait for the new leak down tester and probably pull the head after that! Woohoo

I'd love to take this LR4 up Broken Arrow and see what I can break though! haha, you should definitely come up and do some trails! Maybe wait until around September though, we are in the heat of tourism season and it's mayhem here. Hard to enjoy the sights in stop-n-go traffic

I know that's frustrating. Did you already check compression in number 5? At least between leak down and compression test, you would know which parts to order.

Last thoughts: have you traced the coil connector harness? I don't think it's the injector harness given the fuel in the plug. But, it may be worthwhile to check continuity in the circuit prior to pulling the head. Especially if the leak down and compression test come back within spec.

What code reader are you using? If you want (probably) the most Land Rover oriented one check out the GAP IID Tool. They usually go on sale every once in a while on Lucky8.
