no I had a shop do it. I had them weld bigger pipes and then slip them over the cut exhaust pipe and then weld them so if I ever wanted to stick the muffler back on I could easily.

I hope you didn't pay much. I know it is just an exhaust but good lord where has the pride in the trades gone to?

I took the center resonator off my truck aswell. I will say that I’ve gotten very used to it and there is a little vibration through the cabin but the sound this car makes is amazing. When your on the gas it puts a smile on your face but it’s not loud enough to turn peoples heads. Pops and bangs when your manual down shifting and the torque converter locks up. It’s perfect in my opinion and I’ll provide some photos of the job.

maybe add some silicone exhaust hangers to the pipes? Maybe that would help with the slight vibration?

that sounds great actually, more refined than mine since you kept the resonators...

My muffler guy for over 25 years told me the oem muffler is the same size as a Magnaflo something something and looks exactly like it. Recommended to remove the middle resonator and keep the tail pipe resonators to lower the drone. Of course I listened, and I'm glad I did. I can drop it into Sport mode and it'll romp deep and you'll hear the back fire too.

Borla Cat back muffler all stainless no worries 21 years and counting not having rusted out muffler and exhaust system.
Sounds like a 289 Mustang with Glasspacks when stirring the stick at 5,600 w/5 speed plus has a nice rumble sound. Not that crappy FlowMaster high school kids sound. Drone free and if getting on it hard can get the laws attention but nowhere near stupid loud sounding like blown out rust holed mufflers. Best part the 95 D1 w/4.9 is around 23 pounds lighter. .....~~=o&o>......
