After searching this forum and finding lots of useful information, I am wondering if anyone could advise on my issue.
I have a Range Rover sport HSE 2010. While driving on a freeway from our vacation, low coolant level warning showed up and temperature went up right after. I pulled over and saw white smoke under the hood. I added coolant, test drove it, temperature went up again, lost power and car went limb. There was more smoke, coolant sprayed all over the engine. Had it towed and now, after research and taking some parts apart, I am now sure the issue is with both crossover pipes.
The issue however gets more difficult for me as it seems that those front pipe flanges melted into the engine block. I am stuck and not sure if that could have damaged the engine and what my next steps should be.
