Hi All ,

got an issue with my 2003 D2 , I have noticed water sitting in the inside of the roof after it had rained.
Can’t seem to pin point the area.

Have attached a few images below.

The roof lining was removed as sunroofs were sealed shut , roof rails were also resealed & windscreen also replaced.

See images below .

The pic from the outside is roughly where it is coming in from on the inside. Also the water droplets on the door frame is just the water trickling down from where the water is sitting .

You say the sun roofs where sealed... have they been removed or just sealed off? I ask, because it looks like the water is from the sun roof drains.

Check the roof rail seals. Is water coming from there?

Check/seal the plastic connectors that join the sunroof tray to the drain tubes. Perhaps a hairline crack could cause the seepage you are seeing. Pour water in sunroof tray to ensure drain lines are actually flowing, not clogged.

The top of a Disco is a complete separate piece and is sealed to the lower half, on the D1 it was steal, the D2 it is aluminum so the D2 would rust sadly, the D2 there could be a bad seal?
