When I turn off my 'new' LR4 HSE Lux, the driver's seat moves down and back, I assume to allow easier access. Unfortunately it also crushes anything/anyone behind the driver's seat in the process. When the engine is re-started it moves back to the selected memory setting. Does anyone know a way this feature can be disabled without losing the memory seat function? I Googled and even looked in the owners manual! Thank you.

Funny - I remember mine doing this when I first bought it, then it stopped and I wasn’t sure why. Just looked it up. The steering column adjustment knob that moves like a joystick to adjust the steering wheel apparently can also be rotated from a manual to auto position. In the auto position, it will move the steering wheel up and the seat back to make it easier to exit. If you turn it to the manual position, it should stop that behavior. I guess when I adjusted the steering wheel, I accidentally turned if off. Still learning new things.

Brilliant. I'll check in the morning. Thank you.

Now checked and it's exactly as you said. Staring me right in the face! Thank you very much. (you mention you looked it up - where? I looked in the owners manual in the memory seat section)
