Now this thing is a “female dog” to remove……it literally took me 3 hours just to remove from the car smh. Part number is LR091344G. Personally i’d pay to have this done…..

Yep! Actuator. I had my 2011's drivers and passenger door actuators replaced over the past few years. Very annoying as you have to pull apart the entire door to get it done. I paid my indie LR guys to do this both times. Around 650 both times.

got it done for $120 by myself, but it wasn't worth the cost savings.

Glad you completed the project. Don’t forget to factor in the satisfaction of DIY. But I’m with you, if it took you 4 hrs+ in addition to the cost of the part (not to mention all the quarters you dropped into the cuss jar) then outsourcing it would have gotten you to the cold beers with a lot less hassle. :) Live and learn!

It’s not a Terrible job but there are a few plastic bits that you can easily break if you are not careful. Body clips, plastic tip to door actuator cable, door handle cover, etc. Then it will get annoying in a hurry

I broke the interior door latch clip, and BOTH window clips that hold the window into the motor assembly….i spent an hour along carefully epoxying that stuff. I doubt the door latch one will last. I just needed the truck back and running asap as the replacement latch is a few days out.
