Help, Wheel alignment 06 LR3

Hi all, first time poster long time forum reader. I'm an old school fix it yourselfer when it comes to my own vehicle.

I have a V8 06 LR3. 4years ago I got Christmas tree dash lights. Popped the hood, removed engine cover, and a mouse had chewed the heat sensor wire. Patched that and it was fixed. 1 year later Christmas tree lights. Couldn't figure it out but it would go away after shutting it off and restarting. I would drive it and it would occasionally do it again. After about a year it would happen often until it happened every time after driving 2-4 blocks. Rover shop had it four times and couldn't figure it out. They even rewired my mouse chewed wire fix.
New: Battery, brake light switch, corroded wires along rocker panels, OEM bulbs, engine temp sensor, EGR valve, VVT sensor, EGR valve, camshaft position sensor, fuel injector seals. I'm sure there is more. All of this before the Rover shop tried to fix it.
A few months back I was just investigating possible fixes. I read a forum on front end issues causing Christmas lights. Checked the 4x4 screen and my steering wheel is a 1/4 turn off compared to the screen. So I had a frontend inspection. They recommended front lower A arms, tie rod ends, and wheel bearings. I bought it all through Atlantic British and installed. Marking the old cam bolt locations on A arms, matched lengths on tie rods. My toe out seemed worse. I brought it to Les Shwabb and they said I have the wrong tie rod length on the right side. So they couldn't finish the alignment. Yet it seems to match my old one perfectly. Whatever they did do now my wheel is farther than a 1/4 out on my 4x4 screen. I was really hoping after 2 plus years of researching and trying to fix it that they would align it and my headache would be cured. Now I'm stumped as to what could cause the toe out to be so far out of spec.
Anyone got an idea of what may cause this?

I had some front end work done and after a mile or so I would get the lights and it would drop to the bump stops. I would have to do a quick ignition cycle and restart in neutral to keep from dropping all the way. I tried 100 different fixes also and it ended up I had to do a recalibration of the steering wheel and that fixed it. If you don't have that section of the manual let me know and I'll look for it. I'm 99% sure I have posted it on here before.

Thank you for this information. I didn't know I can do that myself. I don't have that tutorial in my manual so if you can share it. That woudl be awesome.
Before I do that, I have to figure out why I can't get the toe in to spec. Les Shwabb said the left side was adjustable within spec but the right side would bottom out in the outer tie rod and still needs to toe in more. I'm not sure what could cause this. Could it be in the steering gear assembly?

I don't know that I'd trust this to Les. Also, the Steering Angle Sensor and calibration is what I was thinking as I perused your list of fixes and saw everything BUT that...and it certainly triggers those symptoms which you described.

Oh and thanks for your opinion on Les. I wasn't confident using them. I will look and call around to find someone with the knowledge of lr3's.
