Hi All, I have to say I have posted this problem on a few sites.
I have recently installed the set of 4 pipes to the front of a RR sport v8 tdi and not has the vehicle that long assumed the replacement was needed due to corroded pipes . I yhe n tried to work out if I could bleed the system. I understand that it's only dealer. However also discovered that the previous owner had bypassed the system, the reason , I don't know.
Anyway bought a belt that included the pump for ace system and now see some circulation in reservoir. I think there is still air in the system , has anyone managed to bleed the system without the special tools.

There’s a ‘how to’ video on Atlantic British web site. Seems after replacing the ACE filter and obviously losing some fluid in the process it’s supposed to be as simple as topping up the fluid reservoir and letting it run for a minute or two. Waiting for filter to arrive before changing mine.

The best way to bleed the system is with the OEM scan tool. During bleeding, the valves in the valve block will open and the vehicle will rock itself left to right. This cycles the sway bars to purge the air out.

The are bleed screws on the sway bars.
Drive the vehicle in aggressive figure eights.
Shut the engine off. Crack each bleeder screw. Retighten, repeat couple times.
