Its not hard. Once you get the new updates from the GAP folks, you pretty much push the button and let it go. The key is to keep the battery voltage up thru the event. Sometimes 45 minutes or more; a battery charger is good insurance as the car tends to run things with the key being on.

Many updates are already in the tool, which is nice. It saves prior files incase the update goes bad. Mine went great, but it took a couple of hours to complete.
