I’m trying to track down a squeak(left front corner). I’ve completely soaked every bushing in some type of fluid film. It actually made the squeak more noticeable.

I’ve checked and tightened everything up, nothing is loose. However I did notice when using my pry bar to check for worn bushings, there’s a lot of plat in the rear bushing of both front lower control arms. They are brand new oem Land Rover arms. Replaced by the dealer before I bought this roughly 6 months ago. Is this normal for the bushing to flex a lot?

You sure they replaced them. Cheapies can die in a couple of years.

Yes, there were the stickers with part numbers still on them. Oem Land Rover parts. The look shiny compared to the rest of the suspension.

They are rubber, so I would expect some flex right? If you are not getting a clunk when going over bumps or pulsing the brakes at low speed then LCA bushings fine I would think.

I would call that a dead bushing needing replacement.
Drive 2-3 mph with foot on brake pedal but not pressing
Brake hard
Listen for a clunk coming from under you just in front of the seat
If it clunks you need new bushings.

I bet they were installed wrong - if they were tightened down without being raised up to the proper height first, I would think that that torque could easily tear them up in very short order.
