I have had the intake can adjuster, timing chain and all the associated components including the crank pulley replaced. I had a rattle on start up. I still have a check engine light on. Code says timing advance. Any suggestions on how to get the light to stay off?
It is the 4 cyl turbo.

after replacing all of the above parts the light is still on. It runs great and is quiet now. The check engine light will not stay off. Is there a factory reset or re flash available to correct the light staying on? with it on I can not get it inspected or sell it. Please help.

The PCM "adaptions" (learned parameters) need to be reset. I'm not sure if the aftermarket scan tool can do that.
