Getting ready to change the Diff and Xfer case fluids on wife's 2015 Lux with Locking Diff (HD Pkg), what fluids are you guys using for the rear locking diff, front open diff, and xfer case?

Land Rover | Transfer Case Oil Change "what an engineer wants"

Land Rover | Front Diff Oil Change "I'm still here holding this thing"

Land Rover | Rear Diff Oil Change "that is a long plug"

I got you.

I’m not really sure why it’s such a task to purchase this stuff. It was frustrating enough finding the right information, nevermind finding it in stock or even getting websites to be clear about whether it’s the right stuff or not.

I finally found a website selling everything I needed at a reasonable price with everything in stock…

Rear Locking Diff:
Ravenol Differential Fluid MDL Multi Disc Locking 1L

SKU: J1C1126

Front Diff:
Ravenol Gear Oil VSG 75W-90 GL-4 GL-5 1

SKU: J1C1109

Transfer Case:
Ravenol Transfer Case Fluid TF-0870 / DTF-1 1L

SKU: J1C1125

Thanks for the above.

Has anyone used AMSOIL products for any of these, especially the front Diff, as that appears to be just GL4/5....

Royal Purple for the transfer and regular open diff. If you got a locking diff then dealer juice.

For the rear diff with locker you can use AC Delco 10-4032 75w-85 GL5 stuff for GM vehicles; same as oem fluid at a fraction of the cost

Done this a couple times on my 2012 LR4, open differential with:
CASTROL GEAR OIL 75W90 SYNTRAX LONGLIFE
Royal Purple-ROY01512 ROYAL PURPLE SYNCHROMAX QT. TRANSFLUID

Both fluids easy to get in stores or Amazon. The transfer case was an easy fill if you remove the heat shield. The front diff is easier to get to with driver wheel off.

Regarding the Transfer Case, spec calls for 1.5L, I was not able to get quite 1.5L in before it started running out, and I did not measure what came out as I was just going to put the spec amount back in. Now I wish I did.
