Basically just curious how often these need to be done I did the fronts about 6,000 miles ago and just started hearing and feeling a grinding during turns specifically going from high speed to low speed fairly quickly and turning at the same time (imagine almost missing a turn and slowing at the last second to make the turn) I’m wondering if there’s any other things I should check before the wheel hubs I do have new control arm bushing as well. Any advice is appreciated thanks

I installed new ones and about 10k miles later one went bad. When I initially replaced them they were cheaper ones. I replaced the bad one with a Moog. I think it's much better now. So not sure if what they were replaced with was good quality, but that might play into your problem. Also check brake rotors, pads, alignment, balance, and tire wear. All of that will stress your hubs. Power steering fluid for sure as well.
If you don't know how to check your hubs, jack up a tire, put your hands and 12 and 6 oclock position and see if the wheel rocks back and forth, then the 3 and 9 oclock position and do the same thing. If you feel ANY movement in either direction then the hub is going bad or is already bad. There may even be just the slightest give. Also spin the wheel and you may hear or feel grinding.
The front hubs in the LR4 are so easy to replace compared to many other vehicles! IMO

Thanks I replaced them with some good ones but I might try moog that’s always been my go to with other cars.

I've said it before, in 99% of cases factory Landrover is best.
