Yup, that's what I did a while back and it's good enough to have a conversation in the car. I hear more wind noise coming from my A Piller shrouds than a constant drone. When downshifting on Sport mode on a downgrade slope is probably the best part, backfires!

I replaced my resonater with an H pipe, and the center muffler with straight pipe. It definitely has a unique sound to it

There's other videos that give example of what it sounds like in other conditions

yeah man worst case scenario if you hate the sound then install back. I'd admit its not for everyone. I'm young and appreciate the noise. As i get older i think ill install the resonator/musfflers back on.

FYI - I ended up cutting out the main resonator and replacing it with a pipe. $75 for the whole thing at a muffler shop that focuses on exhaust tuning. Nice sound. Loud, but not obnoxious. There is some burble/light backfire sound when trailing the throttle at high RPM. But it sounds kinda cool this way. Freeway speed loudness isn't to bad and manageable on long road trips.

Any way you can do a moving sound clip interior & exterior? I’m interested in modding my exhaust after I’m done with the build.
