Yes, pretty easy for sure. Removed all intake tubing, top half of fan shroud, removed one bolt on the thermostat and gave me enough room to access the bolts for removal with tight reach.

Lastly, the updated solenoid required a new electrical connection to be installed as well.

@CO-LR4 - any chance you still have that old variable timing solenoid plug connector lying around your shop and would be willing to sell it?

I came to the forum searching for my P0010-13 code (Intake (A) camshaft position actuator - circuit open) and was about to order a new solenoid + updated electrical connector following your path... but a quick visual inspection first revealed that a rodent has chewed straight through the wire right at the plug connector. Open circuit, for sure. Seems everyone only sells the updated connector these days.

We have some used harnesses here.

Oh bummer, mine looks like the photo below. Could yours be the updated 12x14mm connector? Mine measures more like 16x19mm and looks like this...

Sorry for the delay as have been out of town. Unfortunately I do not, but wanted to respond.
