Also, picked up this aluminum bridge adapter from SFC motor sports. I’m still up in the air about using it. Just wondering if the aluminum will hold more heat and degrade the seal. Eyeball is identical to the ZF.

I did the 2016, 8 speed a couple of years ago and after some reading determined not to reset the adaptation.
As I seem to recall, the discussions led me to conclude that the adaptation was more related to mechanical wear rather than new fluid, so it would be best to just leave it alone.
No issues at all so far after about 13K miles.

Following this thread because I need to do the 2013 6 speed next.

2015 8sp. What type of T40 did you guys use to access the front torx bolts that are above the front crossmember.

Same for me - no issues either

I used a t40 bit in a little flat ratcheting wrench - this one from Amazon

What torque wrench did you use?

I used a Summit brand torque wrench that directly fits those T40 bits and is small enough to get in there, but the gears in the head were absolute crap and the wrench lasted only through this one project.

Any other ideas before I start this project on the 2013 6spd?

Think I've posted this earlier in the 24-page thread, but this is the pump I use to fill the transmission - works on most vehicles without a dipstick, that require pumping to refill:

Finished tonight. Got 5.3L out, almost 6L back in.

Edit: I put a level on the door, just under the black window moulding to ensure the truck was level on jack stands, and using a floor jack for minor adjustments. Final fluid check (drips) at 40-42C. Basically same process that I use on the L322 and X5's.
