Just kind of curious what you guys are all paying for insurance.

2013 LR4 HSE (115k miles) with the Vision and HD Package (No idea if the insurance companies even factor this, but figured I'd post it)

10,000 miles a year, work, school, or pleasure.

I use State Farm and have a multiple auto/home discount and accident free discount. Clean driving record. I live in Phoenix, AZ which increased my rates by about $600 a year when I moved here. 28 years old. Rates also just recently went up a little bit.

I would recommend changing the Comprehensive to a $100 deductible, not much of a difference in price. Mine came out to be a $40 difference for the whole 6 months going from a $500 to $100 deductible. When your glass breaks, its only $100 vs your current $1000 deductible. Doesn't hurt to ask to find out.

I just switched from Liberty mutual to progressive for all 3 vehicles because of a 30% rate increase for no reason; no accidents, tickets, or claims in over 10yrs. I increased to full coverage on our others cars and it was still cheaper. I also shop around each renewal time because they don’t have any loyalty to me, why should I to them. Insurance companies won’t reduce your rate, so the only way to save is to switch.

6 Months: $324 for the LR4, $624 for all 3(paid all upfront for another discount)

Bodily Injury Coverage
Limit Per Person $250k
Limit Per Accident $500k

$97/ 6 mos

Property Damage Coverage
Limit Per Accident $100,000

$25 / 6 mos

Comprehensive with Full Glass Coverage

Glass $50

$64 / 6 mos

Collision Coverage
Deductible $100

$110 / 6 mos

Uninsured Motor Vehicle Coverage
Limit Per Person $250k
Limit Per Accident $500k

$25 / 6 mos

Undinsured property Coverage
Limit Per Accident $100k
$200 deductible

$12 / 6 mos

Emergency Road Service Coverage
None - I have this with our car warranty

Car Rental Coverage
None - we have 2 other vehicles

Loan Payoff
$9 / 6 mos

I also highly recommend using a website like Zander insurance (no affiliation); I plug in what I want and it returns multiple companies and their rates to see who is cheaper for the same coverage. Then I purchase directly from whatever company’s site.

Glass is a $0 deductible in AZ, have had 2 windshields replaced already.

I'll look into changing some things around. I'm on my ends with state farm ever since they've been bumping up my rates for no reason. Going to look at the insurance options through Costco, but I was curious what others were paying for our vehicles.

I think I'm in the $600-700 range per year. Fairly high limits. $1k collision. $500 comprehensive. $100 for glass.

Did they give you OE glass or make you take Fuyao ? I have state farm as well with "$0 deduct" but I had to pay the difference for OE.

Edit: So as not to threadjack, State Farm, 44, CO, full coverage (250/500 liab, comp, $1K deduct collision, UI/UM) -- roughly $1250 a year.

I got OE glass once, and the most recent time they wouldn’t do it.

However they did pay for Pilkington glass which is OE, but it doesn’t have a Land Rover on it.

Gotcha. I tried to get Pilkington, but was told none were available in North America.
