I got the fedoro pads from fcp euro as well. Rotor still genuine. I changed them myself and it squeals. I've driven less than 1k miles since replacement, hoping it'll stop soon.
Same pads here, but I did replace the rotors w/ zinc coated. No more squealing at all, about 3.5k miles post brake job (see earlier posts) and the performance is just fine.

What was the general condition of the rotors? Did they have a sizeable lip from wear? I assume they were still above minimum thickness spec?

Did you:

Clean and grease the caliper sliding pins (silicone only)
Use fresh brake hardware (pad retaining clips) with a dab of silicone on the pad tabs
Take emery cloth and clean up your rotor surfaces (deglaze)

Last one is important.

These are great points. This is my first break job, so no, I didn't do any of those.

Rotors are in great condition, replaced last time. Just for good measure, I'll touch them up with emery cloth anyways. What grit do you use?

I have new clips, but they look different shape (came with the fedoro pads from fcp euro) so I didn't use it. Used the old ones. I'll go back in there and put the new ones in.

What silicone do you use?

Remove the caliper pins one at a time, clean off the old gunk and regrease with silglyde. The silicone does not swell the rubber bushing in the lower pin of the caliper. All other lubes/grease I have used have been nasty to the bushing.

Use the new clips if possible. They should match the old ones. Flip them around to see. If they are indeed different just clean the old ones as best you can and grease the channels a little where the pad tabs sit.

Emery cloth grit? Don't know. Just says emery on it. Point is to remove any circular glazing. Did the rotors have a lip on the outer edge?

If you want a detailed explanation of everything Land Rover Brake google "Bodsy's brake bible"

I have put 90k miles on my 2013 and no matter what rotors or pads I ran or what I did the brakes squeaked. It drove my wife nuts. The only way I got it to stop, and has worked every time since is using CRC Disc Brake Quiet on the back of the pads. I remembered my Dad using it when I was s kid so I gave it a shot and it did the trick.
